Benedict Cumberbatch Girlfriend Rumors: Sherlock Star Spotted With Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael As BBC Trailer Showcases Season 3

As "Sherlock" season 3 finishes filming, Benedict Cumberbatch is taking a well-earned break with "Downton Abbey" actress Laura Carmichael, once again igniting girlfriend rumors.

As reported by Entertainmentwise, Benedict Cumberbatch and Carmichael were spotted enjoying some mead at the Camden's Roundhouse on Sunday after taking in Lady Gaga's iTunes festival set.

Although reports say the pair was with a group of friends, the photos taken during the night out showed Benedict Cumberbatch being quite amiable with Carmichael.

Is he looking for girlfriend material?

Despite Benedict Cumberbatch being busy filming "Sherlock" and cozying up to Russian models, the actor took the time to reveal girlfriend traits he most looks for in a woman.

"A woman who knows that she doesn't have to get all decked out to look good is sexy," says Cumberbatch according to Entertainmentwise.

"A woman who can make you feel smart with her conversation skills is also sexy. I believe the sense of humor is important."

One thing Cumberbatch is not doing is seeing Russian model Katia Elizarova.

"I know the pictures look intimate but it's all innocent," says Elizarova according to the Daily Mail. "It looks like we are having a sexy chat, but we were actually discussing what we were going to have off the restaurant menu."

So, does this mean "Sherlock" and Benedict Cumberbatch fans now have a chance to be the mega star's girlfriend?

Perhaps, but the actor is not ready for marriage anytime soon.

"It is a wonderful thing to get married young and become a father. I used to think that I'd get married in my mid-30s and have children. But now I think I can wait. I'm no longer in a hurry to get married," continues Benedict Cumberbatch.

Meanwhile, a new BBC Drama trailer has been unveiled, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as "Sherlock."

"Just the two of us against the rest of world," says Sherlock Holmes to Watson (Martin Freeman).
