X-Men Days Of Future Past Spoilers: Plot Details Confirmed - Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart And The Ensemble Cast Of Mutants To Time Travel; ‘Tyrion Lannister’ Peter Dinklage To Play Villain Role

X-Men: Days of Future Past is coming to theatres on May 23, 2014, and the ensemble of mutants - not to the mention the collection of great actors who portray them - is making X-Men fans quite excited.

This movie is meant to be the sequel to "X-Men: The Last Stand" (where the grown-up Jean Grey vaporized Professor X and Cyclops) as well as "X-Men: First Class" (where the younger X-Men had actually started as a team).  Now, how could that be possible - a sequel for both films?

X-Men Movies in Facebook gives a succinct description:

"The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.  The beloved characters from the original 'X-Men' film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from 'X-Men: First Class,' in an epic battle that must change the past - to save our future."

In an interview with SuperHero Hype early this year, director Bryan Singer said, "It's epic. I don't think people realize how big this movie's going to be. We get to bring both casts together. We've cracked it in a way that it makes sense."

He added, "I had a two-hour conversation with James Cameron about time travel, string theory, multiverses and all that. You have to create your rules and stick with them. That's why Terminator and Back To The Future work so well. And there are certain mechanisms in X-Men, certain powers, perceptions and characters, that make this possible."

That said, fans can expect a whole collection of mutants in one epic film.  "Professor X", for instance, will be played by both Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy; and "Magneto" will be portrayed by Ian McKellan and Michael Fassbender.

The other actors who will be reprising their roles include: Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique); Nicholas Hoult (Beast); Anna Paquin (Rogue); Shawn Ashmore (Iceman); Ellen Page (KItty Pryde); and Halle Berry (Storm); and of course, what is an X-Men film without Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman?

Movie-goers will also see "Tyrion Lannister" Peter Dinklage play the role of military scientist Boliver Trask; Omar Sy as Bishop; Daniel Cudmore as Colossus; Fan Bingbing as Blink; Adan Canto as Sunspot; Lucas Till as Havok; and Evan Peters as Quicksilver.  William Stryker will also be present, played by Josh Helman.

X-Men Days Of Future Past spoilers have been going around for many months, but fans have yet to wait eight more before they get watch the real thing.
