Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Welcomes Back Debbie Allen [PHOTO]: Season 9 Available Now On Netflix Instant, 12 Episode To Air Consecutively This Fall!

This week, the creative minds behind "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 has many updates for fans, including returning guest stars and airing schedule this fall!

For one, "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 will bring back Ms. Debbie Allen as Jackson Avery's mother, Catherine Avery. On Twitter, we can see Ms. Taking a photo with artistic director Noel Staunton on the set of "Grey's Anatomy."

Does this mean Richard Webber is alive, or is Dr. Avery back for a funeral?

"Richard's uncertain fate will be resolved in the two-hour premiere, which picks up right after the events of the finale," writes TVLine.

Meanwhile, "Grey's Anatomy" season 9 is now available on Netflix Instant! As reported by creator Shonda Rhimes, this is the perfect time to catch up on "Grey's Anatomy," right before season 10 begins!

"Is it possible to have it all? And what does 'Having it all' mean?" teases Shonda Rhimes regarding Derek and Meredith in season 10.

"And if you do have it all, does that mean you're not doing anything well, that you're just doing a lot of some things and not all the things perfectly?"

It appears that some of these questions will be raised fairly quickly, as "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 will air 12 episodes consecutively this fall, followed by 12 more episodes in a row in the Spring.

This is an ambitious announcement to say the least, as the rigors of TV scheduling usually makes filming a show like "Grey's Anatomy" impossible to keep up on a week to week basis.
