Miley Cyrus family is actually proud of their daughter and her VMA performance. Though the whole world still has a slutty hangover from Sunday's VMA, Miley Cyrus's family is sticking by her. Although father Billy Ray Cyrus said he would always 'love' his daughter, it was obvious that he wants to hide under a rock for a while. What dad wants their little girl gyrating all over a stage in front of millions of viewers! 

 Miley's mom, Tish Cyrus is proud of daughter Miley. "I'm so proud of her, and just honestly, I'm in awe of who she's become as a performer," Tish said, according to Cross Map.

Tish Cyrus also expressed her "awe" of her daughter Miley after the VMAs 2013.

Before the performance, Tish dished on what it was like to be the mother of a pop star.

"Miley performing at the VMAs is so exciting," Tish Cyrus told Gossipdavid before the show on Sunday. "It's just fun for me to be here because it's been two or three years since she put out a record, and it's gone so crazy. I'm so excited for people to finally start seeing her as adult and performing, because it's kind of mind-blowing - it's huge." Tish said.

Tish was in the audience at the 2013 MTV VMAs while her daughter performed, and retweeted a positive comment from celebrity columnist Derek Blasberg, Hello! magazine reports..

"Obsessed with @MileyCyrus's performance at the VMA's. It was like a karaoke party at the Playboy mansion. In the 90's. In platform sneakers," the tweet read.

Miley's sister Brandi also came out in support. She took to Twitter to tell followers: "All else side Miley sounded amazing".

Brandi also retweeted a comment. "I like my superstars with a dash of weird and a little extra spice. And the girl can sing. Consider me team @MileyCyrus," the tweet said.

Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus didn't seem quite as happy with his daughter but showed his support anyway. 

"Of course I'll always be here for Miley," he told Entertainment Tonight after the VMA performance. "Can't wait [to] see her when she gets home. She's still my little girl and I'm still her dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change." 

'We Cant Stop' talking about Miley Cyrus. Her raunchy performance at VMA has celebrities and TV personalities constantly discussing Miley. Justin Timberlake and Matt Lauer are defending Miley Cyrus and her controversial VMA performance while Mika Brzezinski is livid with Miley at MTV for performing such trash.

Justin went on radio station hot 97 and said about Miley Cyrus, "She's young, take it easy on her," and said it's worth considering the context of the performance. "It's the VMAs. You know what I mean, like, it's not the Grammys," he said. "We're talking about Madonna in a wedding dress humping the stage, we're talking about Britney doing a striptease. This cycle is not uncommon." 

Later, Timberlake added, "If something like that doesn't happen at the VMAs, I feel like it was boring." He also said he enjoyed the teddy bears on stage.

He also told radio station 102.7 "Listen, man, it's the VMAs - what did you guys expect?"

But not everybody agrees with JT, including the conservative pundit Mika Brzezinski.

Mika Brzezinski got into a heated debate with Matt Lauer on Tuesday's "Today" over the Miley Cyrus MTV VMA performance, which she called "disgusting and disturbing."

"I think the only thing that surprises me is that we're surprised," Matt Lauer said.

Mika Brzezinski, though, wasn't having it. "There's pushing the envelope and there's porn, there's raunchy porn that's disgusting and disturbing and seeing... a 20 year old young woman literally in the process of her undoing and everyone clapping for it and being disturbed by it and talking about it and showing it, which I hope we don't," Brzezinski said. "Don't show it here on my segment, please."

Lauer disagreed, pointing out that Cyrus is a "paid performer" who was part of the year's "most provocative awards show" and performed during a "provocative" song.

The two argued, and Mika Brzezinski kept saying they should "denounce" the performance.

She said, "Oversexualized is one thing. Is it sexual to stick your face in the face of a life-size teddy bear and stick your tongue out? We're talking about raunch, we're not talking about sexualization."

Miley Cyrus performance at the MTV Video Music Awards should have earned her the award of sluttiest performer of the year. Miley, wearing a tiny teddy bear outfit surrounded by women wearing teddy bears as well while singing 'We Can't Stop,' gave a performance that was so utterly talentless and whorish that it left even Will Smith and his family rolling their eyes and holding their breath.

The song was ridiculous with Miley barely dancing and her singing was too vibrato and she looked on drugs. Twitter fans agree with her odd ball performance with comments blowing up the internet.

Then Miley took off her insane teddy bear get up to wear a Britney Spears inspired two piece tan jumpsuit. She sang with Robin Thicke and was jumping around, dancing, twerking, holding her crotch and ran a foam finger along her private parts with some major pelvic thrusts. The whole thing was absurd.

Miley clearly doesn't have talent. She can't sing or dance and her over the top slutty moves make her officially the worst role model in Hollywood.
