The 33-year-old has been battling an addiction with drugs that include cocaine and the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star is out of rehab. No further update on Lamar Odom has come out besides that. No word on what affect this has on his future in the NBA considering he is a free agent.
Odom was arrested Aug. 30 at 3:54 a.m. after being stopped in Los Angeles on U.S. Route 101 showing "objective signs of intoxications," according to California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials said they spotted Lamar Odom driving a white Mercedes sports utility vehicle eastbound on the 101 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard. The driver was driving in a "serpentine manner" at speeds of about 50 mph, which led to him being pulled over and arrested on suspicion of DUI (Driving Under the Influence of alcohol/drugs).
Lamar Odom was booked and being held on $15,000 bail, according to TMZ. The DUI arrest took place around 3:54 a.m. and allegedly failed numerous sobriety test. TMZ reported that he refused to take any chemical test.
Odom's wife posted a message on Twitter two days after his arrest, saying, "As much as I wish I were made of steel ... I'm not."
