Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ Video Breaks Record; Reveals Track List In Bangerz Album As Treat

Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" video was released today, and with several hours to spare, it has already beat the record of most watched video in VEVO in its first day of release.  The last one was held by One Direction's "Best Song Ever" which the boy band had set last July.

She tweeted, "We broke the record :) We hit 12.3 million on vevo :) keep watching #wreckingballonvevo thank you Smilers"

Not surprising for the 20-year old singer, she has managed once again to make waves and leave the public gasping for breath with another unconventional performance.  While her infamous MTV VMA performance has yet to blur out of people's conversations, her new video has people talking once more.

Starting off wearing underwear and Dr. Marten boots (and eventually, in nothing more than her birthday suit... and boots), the performer is seen straddling and swinging atop a construction wrecking ball as well as caressing a sledgehammer.

But while the reaction from viewers was immediate, the numbers of those who watch the video just keep rising.  And, as Cyrus had previously promised her fans, she would reveal the playlist of her Bangerz album if they break the record.

She lists in Twitter:

1.      Adore you

2.      We Can't Stop

3.      SMS (BANGERZ) feat. It's ******* bitch

4.      4X4 feat. @Nelly_Mo

5.      My Darlin feat. @1future

6.      WRECKING BALL

7.       feat. @bigsean

8.      #GETITRIGHT

9.      Drive

10.  FU feat. @FrencHMonTanA

11.  Do My Thang

12.  Maybe You're Right

13.  Someone Else

In a previous interview with MTV News (about her VMA performance), the singer said:

"I don't pay attention to the negative, because I've seen this played out so many times.  How many times have we seen this play out in pop music?  You know now, you know it's happened.  Madonna's done it, Britney's done it; every VMA performance, everyone that performs - everyone that performs, that's what you're looking for, you want to make history."

And this is what the "Wrecking Ball" video was all about - to break the record and make history.

Bangerz is set to be released in October.
