During an exchange through Twitter on Sept. 9, a fan asked the studio if there was a way to increase rail speed without causing the video game to lag, Examiner.com also reports.
"We'll be changing the minecart speeds to twice the current speed in TU13. MOAR Rollercoasters!" 4J Studios revealed.
4J Studios' Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition' can now handle in-game texture packs thanks to system support that was added inside Title Update 12, Examiner.com reports.
They have also announced their desire to bring the many existing texture packs found on the PC version of Minecraft over to the Xbox 360 edition now that the console title can support their application, Examiner.com also reports.
Minecraft Xbox 360 Update's Mash-Up pack has 36 new character skins and world textures that are based on Mass Effect and includes a Themed World that is based on the game.
Several gamers took to online forums to complain about glitches and bugs found in TU12.
"HUD opacity at 15% but the Amounts of Quick bar are at 100%, at 5% and lower numbers act correctly. (I'll double check my % amounts and edit if different)," wrote one gamer in an online forum.
"Grass/Trees on fire due to lightning don't go out naturally, Punching has no effect. Digging up block removes flame, until block is replaced then fire returns. if covered by a block this will put out fire. (I was a guest but host also had same bug fire is active to spread) have only had this instance once as it seems to never thunder in my current seed."
