Zac Efron’s dating life maybe silent since he last split with fellow “At Any Price” star Maika Monroe, but the young Hollywood hunk’s career is still on an upward swing.

His shirtless pic at the set of his new movie, “Neighbors,” where he plays the head of a frat house instantly went viral and landed on major entertainment outlets when it was released.

The 25-year-old star looks buff and sexy in the image as he shows off his washboard abs while grilling food in a scene for the film. His beautiful face and great body earned him a well-deserve compliment from his “Neighbors” co-star, Seth Rogen.

“Zac Efron is incredibly handsome,” Seth said on a May 1 event. “I did a scene with him, and we’re both shirtless, and it was a very humbling experience. I marveled at the fact that we’re literally the same species.”

Rumors suggest that the handsome teen idol is still single and that news about Zac Efron and Kristen Stewart dating is unfounded.

A close source said that the “Twilight” star thinks that Zac is too buff and that she prefers “skinnier and more hipster type of guys,” according to Gossip Cop.

“Don’t hold your breath for this relationship to happen,” added the source.

Cliché Dating Model

Zac Efron’s dating model for the year 2013 is steep in cliché, so far. He has followed the usual route of Hollywood actors hooking up with their sexy co-stars. The Hollywood hunk most recently dated Maika Monroe, a fellow cast member from “At Any Price.”

Maika shared her feelings for the young heartthrob with “In Touch,” when the couple was still together. She admitted that he blows her away and considers him to be very down to earth, sweet and attractive.

Zac and Maika were spotted together during the Tribeca Film Festival last spring, where the screening of “At Any Price” was held. Maika was full of praise for Zac and she could not refrain from admitting that she would not mind kissing her co-star throughout the movie!

During the the Tribeca festivities, Zac was seen gleeful at the site of his sexy co-star entering the red carpet for the screening of their movie. According to a source, it was more than enough to tell how hard they feel for each other. During the event the pair was seen moving along throughout the function in a lovely and flirty manner.

The match seems to be perfect with the hunky Zac Efron shacking with the sexy blonde Maika. But like most Hollywood love stories, there is an end. The young couple have already broken up and that Maika is now reportedly dating "Twilight" hunk, Taylor Lautner.
