Big Bang G-Dragon, EXO-M Scheduled For Shanghai West Bund Music Festival

Next month G-Dragon and EXO-M will hit the stage in Shanghai as part of the three-day Shanghai West Bund Music Festival.

The music festival will feature an all-star lineup of Chinese performers and a special treat for K-Pop fans in the city - Big Bang leader and internationally popular soloist G-Dragon and the Mandarin-singing half of SM Entertainment's boy band sensation EXO.

The event will be held from October 1 to 3 at the Shanghai Xuhui Bingjiang Area and is in conjunction with the West Bund Biennale, China's largest exhibition of art and culture.

Gao Shiming, art curator for the Biennale explained to the China Daily, "The West Bund Biennale is different from many others. It's not a two-month fixed exhibition. It has a series of successive culture events and will penetrate the lives of the Shanghai people."

As part of the series of cultural events, the city and Biennale organizers have made arrangements for this year's music festival.

EXO is set to perform on the first night and G-Dragon's performance is scheduled for day two of the festival.

Tickets can only be purchased through the Chinese-version of the Shanghai Cultural Information website, and will go on sale soon. The price for each day's ticket is 250 Yuan.
