Movie sequels coming out in the near future may or may not meet viewer expectations, but anticipation runs high for these films. Below are three of the many titles in the list: 

DUMB AND DUMBER TO. The original movie "Dumb and Dumber" was first shown almost two decades ago. Now, Jim Carrey comes back as Lloyd Christmas and Jeff Daniels returns as Harry Dunne in a sequel scheduled to be released in 2014 - on the original's 20th anniversary. It is believed that filming starts this month. 

Daniels, who plays half of the dimwitted duo, said in an interview in Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last July, "I'll believe it's happening when I'm actually there staring at Jim Carrey, but it looks like we're starting in September."  

With the recent tweet posted by Carrey, it looks like the project is on its way. He said, "GESS HUUZ BAK BICHEZ?"

Daniels further said in the same interview, "I've seen the script, it's hysterical. We're middle-aged, we're not pretending we aren't. We're middle-aged and we're still that stupid." 

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION.  Set to be released on June 27, 2014, the fourth instalment to the autobot-decepticon saga is said to take place four years after the events in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Mark Wahlberg plays the lead role, Cade, together with Nicola Peltz as Tessa; Jack Reynor as Shane; Stanley Tucci as Joshua; Sophia Myles as Darcy; Titus Welliver as Savoy; Li Bingbing as Su Yueming, and Kelsey Grammer as Harold Attinger.

There have been speculations that dinobots will be appearing in the film, but that has yet to be confirmed. 

JURASSIC WORLD. There is no confirmation yet that Transformers 4 will feature dinobots, but there sure will be dinosaurs in Jurassic Park 4. Jurassic World, the fourth instalment to the dino-movie franchise, will be released on June 12, 2015 in 3D.

USA Today quotes paleontologist Jack Horner, the adviser to the Jurassic Park movies, "I can't actually tell you who that (the dino-villain) will be, but you'll want to keep the lights on after you see this movie."
