During an interview for the film "The Face Reader," he was asked about the actress who played the title role in the 50-episode drama. IU played Lee Soon Shin, a girl who feels inferior to her two successful older sisters. Eventually she discovers her own path and realizes her dreams.

Helping her on that path was the talent agent Joon Ho, played by Jo Jung Suk. Joon Ho not only discovers Lee Soon Shin's talents and helps make her star. He falls in love with her.
