'The Big Bang Theory' Season 7 spoilers are continuously emerging as the return of the hit CBS sitcom becomes more imminent.

One of the Big Bang Theory Season 7 spoilers revealed that the friendship between Sheldon and Leonard will be put to the test in the second episode of the 1-hour premiere of the show on September 26.

Meanwhile, the first episode entitled "The Hofstadter Insufficiency" of The Big Bang Theory Season 7 will show Penny and Sheldon being much closer than ever since Leonard, Penny's boyfriend and Sheldon's best friend, is away on a North Sea expedition together with Stephen Hawking's team. As cited by Fashion & Style, Steve Molaro, the showrunner of The Big Bang Theory shared to The Hollywood Reporter, "You will see that Penny and Sheldon are both missing Leonard and are spending some quality time together and getting closer than ever -- which I love."

Revealing more The Big Bang Theory Season 7 spoilers to TV Line, Molaro said, "They [share] a couple of intimate secrets about each there," Molaro said. "They have some really sweet scenes together."

Going back to The Big Bang Theory Season 7 spoilers regarding the second episode with an official title, "The Deception Verification", it is revealed that Leonard will already be returning to the apartment. However, Leonard's arrival will not brighten up Sheldon, as his return "puts an abrupt end to Sheldon's bonding time, with Penny," as posted on a report from International Business Times.  Furthermore, it reads, "The CBS preview suggests that his feelings are crushed and a jealous Sheldon's one-liners are going to have more bite and dry humour."
