2NE1's maknae Minzy gets respect from her fans because of being a role model as she takes responsibility for her family.
Last September 8, Minzy appeared as one of the guests on KBS's "Mamma Mia" along with her mother. 

MC of the show Lee Young Ja asked , "How's the contract [with YG Entertainment]?" Minzy's mother open up by saying, "Minzy bought us a house with the contract money." She also was proud about Minzy's achievement at an early age which shocked all in the audience, "She was nineteen at the time."
Her mother continued to describe how Minzy's life went on, "Minzy went into YG when she was in the sixth grade and made her debut at sixteen. She endured a lot during that time. When we entered the new house, we all cried."

Minzy's mother also got the chance to ask YG Yang Hyun Suk to let her daughter have more exposures on variety shows.

Way to go mom! Way to go Minzy!  A good daughter for a very supportive mother.
