Miley Cyrus and her fiance Liam Hemsworth reportedly suffered from a break up this weekend - is Miley Cyrus' producer Mike WiLL Made It the reason behind their split?

Miley Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth are at the center of break up and split rumors after fans found out on Saturday that the "Wrecking Ball" singer unfollowed her "Hunger Games" star boyfriend on Twitter on Saturday.

According to reports, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are putting their engagement on hold, and some wonder if the couple will ever get married. Miley and Liam are are officially "on a break," Radar Online reports.

But is Miley's producer Mike WiLL Made It the cause of their break up?

Last week Cyrus was rumored to be dating her "Bangerz" album producer Mike WiLL Made It, IB Times reports.

"[They have] grown close after long hours spent in the studio," a source revealed to Star magazine, claiming a budding romance is obvious to those close to the former Disney star.

The insider also said the 24-year-old producer is the brains behind Cyrus' recent style and attitude makeover. "[He is responsible] for her drastic makeover from a Disney sweetheart to a raunchy party girl. [She has] been diving in head first with Mike," said the source.

According to Hollywood Life, Miley looks up to Mike WiLL Made It: "Miley chose him to be the executive producer of her album, because she looks up to him and he's given her a huge amount of confidence - he validated her talent and has been such a big cheerleader," a source told the website.

"Because of him that she's getting to work with people like Kanye West, Wiz Kahlifa. That's a pretty big leap from "Party In The USA" so of course she's gonna be tight with him but there's nothing shady going on between them."

So have the two gotten too close amid these changes?

Star magazine reported that Miley was "hooking up" with her producer, after hearing that Liam was talking to January Jones again, Hollywood Life reports.

But a source close to Miley refuted these claims.

"It's easy to understand why people could jump to conclusions about her and Mike, there have even been times that Liam's questioned her about it," the source told the publication. "He's just as worried about her cheating on him, it's a two way street. But Miley isn't hooking up with Mike."
