Transformers 4 Release Date Set For June 27, 2014; OFFICIAL Movie Title And New Details Announced By Paramount

The official Transformers 4 release date has been announced.

According to Paramount, as cited in a post from Deadline, Transformers 4 release date is set for June 27, 2014. Aside from the announcement regarding the official Transformers 4 release date, new details about the movie were also revealed.

As reported by Motor Authority, Micheal Bay, the popular Hollywood director of the movie confirmed that the upcoming version of transformers will be officially titled as "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction." The director also posted up the first promotional poster for the film, confirming as well the Transformers 4 release date on June 27 of next year. The poster "shows a stylized number four blended in with a partial Decepitcon logo"

Unlike previous movie installments of this hit sci-fi action film which starred Shia LaBeouf, Transformers 4 will feature a completely new set of cast. Mark Wahlberg stars in the movie playing as an aspiring inventor and a single father to Cade, played by the 18-year old actress, Nicola Peltz. Describing his character to MTV, as cited by Classicalite, Wahlberg shared, "...a young, single dad having a teenage daughter, trying to succeed as an inventor, having very little means and also trying to provide for my family. Then all hell breaks loose."

Other stars who are part of the cast of Transformers 4 are Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, TJ Miller, Titus Welliver, Han Geng, Li Bingbing and more. The movie is currently in production. As reported by Enstars, citing the Chicago Sun Times, the cast and crew of the movie were at The South Loop on September 14 for filming.
