"Avatar: The Last Airbender" has been continuing its saga as a graphic novel in "The Search," and the hard cover collecting Parts 1 through 3has been revealed.

"The biggest mystery of Avatar--the fate of Fire Lord Zuko's mother--is revealed in this remarkable oversized hardcover collecting parts 1-3 of 'The Search,' from 'Airbender' creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko!" says the official description.

"Featuring annotations by Eisner Award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang ('American Born Chinese') and artistic team Gurihiru ('Thor and the Warriors Four'), and a brand-new sketchbook, this is a story that Avatar fans need in an edition they will love!"

Part 1 and 2 have been released already, while Part 3 will be released October 30. Following that, this hard cover will be released February 5, 2014.

The story of "The Search" takes place after the original Nickelodeon series and precedes "The Legend of Korra."

Currently, "The Legend of Korra" is beginning Book 2 of its series, and it is unclear whether there will be any overlap between the graphic novel of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and Korra's timeline.

"The Legend of Korra" season 2 premiere has passed, and it seems like the ratings have dropped significantly from the season 1 premiere more than a year ago.

According to Avatar the Last Airbender Online, "The Legend of Korra" season 2 premiere debuted with 2.6 million viewers, whereas the Book 2 premiere garnered 4.5 million.

"The fandom will always be there to give the show some definite ratings, but much of that number is more casual fans who do not keep as up to date as us. Given the way Nick handled Korra in the aftermath of Book 1, it makes sense that many people who watched Book 1 had zero idea that the show was coming back," writes Avatar the Last Airbender Online contributor Morgan Bannon.

It is possible that both the timeslot change and the long hiatus contributed to this drop in ratings, but hopefully season 2 picks up as the episodes air from week to week.
