Matt Smith Back With Girlfriend As Doctor Who Christmas Special Begins Filming: Trenzalore, 'The Silence' To Be Answered As Capaldi Takes Over?

Matt Smith may be nearing his "Doctor Who" tenure, but he's using the newfound time to get back with his former girlfriend, Daisy Lowe.

According to Fashion & Style, Smith and girlfriend Lowe dated in 2010 and 2011, but split up due to heck work schedules.

But it appears Matt Smith has been trying to win her back ever since the filming of "To Catch A Monster."

''He has been sending her photos of himself on set, as he looks completely different with his new skinhead. He's also been hitting the gym and has been working out and training really hard for his new role," says a source.

''Matt told us he sent Daisy a string of photos of his sexy new washboard stomach and newly-toned body. We gather she was very impressed."

Reportedly, Matt Smith and Lowe were spotted together at the GQ Awards, which fans and observers took as sign that Smith's attempt to get his girlfriend back had been successful.

But before all that, Matt Smith is still busy finishing the "Doctor Who" Christmas Special, and it appears that big answers may be coming our way according to some hints dropped by Steven Moffat.

When Doctor Who Magazine asked Moffat about how the TARDIS exploded back in season 5, Moffat had this curious thing to say.

"Oh, never mind the TARDIS blowing up, what about the endless, bitter war Kovarian was on about? And what's Trenzalore? And the oldest question in the universe? And what exactly do they mean, silence will fall? Anyway, I'm off to a readthrough..."

It seems that the "Doctor Who" Christmas Special may not only give Whovians more answers, but also give Matt Smith the chance to have his girlfriend back!
