JYJ Jaejoong Adds His Name To The List Of October Releases, New Full-Length Album In The Works

As we near the end of September, our favorite K-Pop stars are getting fans pumped for what's in store in October.

The latest artist to add their name to the exciting list of October comebacks and releases is JYJ's own Jaejoong.

The popular singer will be releasing his first full-length solo album before the end of next month.

JYJ's agency C-JeS Entertainment confirmed the excited news, releasing a statement that said, "We are planning to release Jaejoong's first full solo album at the end of October."

They also said that fans can expect some new sounds and concepts in the upcoming album.

"You saw Jaejoong as a rock star in January with his mini-album. But this first full album will show off his various charms as a vocalist," the label added.

In the beginning of the year, Jaejoong took the world by storm with his mini-album, I, and its repackage, Y - both of which quickly sold out their limited number of physical copies. I sold all 140,000 copies within two weeks, and the re-release Y sold out the 50,000 copies on the very first day.

He also saw success with the accompanying sold out Asian concert tour.

Jaejoong is hard at work putting the finishing touches on the new album, and according to C-JeS, "He's working every day on recording and working on songs for his full album."

The JYJ member has a long list of self-written, composed, arranged, and produced songs already - and the new album is sure to follow with a very personal touch and feel from the singer.

"This album will be an interesting, sweet, and more generic rock album," said a rep from his agency. "He's also going to go on tour after releasing his album to meet fans both in and out of Korea."
