The Perpetrator Of IU And Super Junior's Eunhyuk Wedding Rumors 'Has Been Caught' Producer Cho Young Chul Claims

The South Korean anti-fan charged with spreading rumors about IU and Super Junior singer Eunhyuk getting married has been caught, according to LOEN Entertainment producer Cho Young Chul.

"The perpetrator who spread IU's wedding rumors and other false accusations has been caught and confessed to his crime," Cho wrote in a Twitter post on Monday.

"He is also being investigated for his malicious hate comments. From now on, the malicious hate comments or any kind of defamation of character of our artists will be firmly dealt with."

Back in May, executives from LOEN Entertainment, IU's record label, filed a lawsuit in Seoul Central District Court when rumors about the two K-popstars getting married began widely circulating online, according to the website allkpop.

And that might not be the extent of LOEN's campaign to silence the IU and Eunhyuk rumors.

The website Popdust reported on Tuesday, that some readers of the publication Korea TV were shocked to see their online comments along with thousands of others regarding a recent article about IU, suddenly disappear.

According to Pop Dust reporter Jacques Peterson, several Korea TV commenters complained that anyone "who left comments on a recent IU article that was published on Korea TV [saw] thousands of negative comments about IU's scandal vanished from the article within seconds."

"If their claims are true, it's hardly surprising," Peterson added.

"South Korea's corruption is well-documented, from music charts being manipulated to payola deals and much more."

The IU and Eunhyuk rumors started when the 20-year-old singer briefly posted a photo of herself in pajamas, with the Super Junior singer apparently shirtless, to Twitter in May.

Back in July, IU, whose new album "Modern Times" comes out October 7, apologized to Eunhyuk  for the incident, which she swears was an accident, on the Seoul Broadcasting System program "Incarnation."

"I wondered, why did this happen? Why did I do this?" IU told the hosts of the on Tuesday.

"First, I did upload it by mistake. And to be honest, I couldn't even blame anyone else because I was the one who uploaded it."

IU, says she removed the photo just a couple of minutes after posting it, but that was enough time for several of the singer's thousands of Twitter followers to screen capture the photo and repost it.

Upon seeing the photo several, fans pointed out that IU, whose real name is Lee Ji Eun, was wearing a pair of pajamas her fans had given her.

When IU realized that the photo of her and the Super Junior rapper had gone viral, she was horrified.

"I was so sorry to many people," IU said. "Since I did it myself, I thought, who should I feel the most apologetic to? Should I be sorry to the people who loved me? Or should I be sorry to the people who I love?"
