Boy group BTS was the number 1 trending topic on Twitter during a live show, and showed off their extraordinary popularity.

On September 25, BTS appeared on the worldwide broadcast of Arirang's "After School Club." During the broadcast, "BTSASC" became the hottest trending topic on Twitter, and ranked number 1. Trending Twitter topics are ranked by search queries done by Twitter users worldwide, and correspond to its popularity in live time.

BTS is the 3rd group to become a number 1 trending Twitter topic during an "After School Club" broadcast, following EXO and B.A.P.

For a group that debuted a mere 3 months ago, BTS is very popular, especially overseas.

BTS conversed with overseas fans in America and Malaysia via video chat. One BTS fan even performed the song "Coffee" from BTS' mini-album O!RUL8,2 on the piano.

Another fan expressed how they were bullied in school, but found hope through listening to BTS' songs.
