‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Spoilers: Leaked Photos Of The ‘Purple Wedding,’ George R. R. Martin Calls It ‘Bigger’ Than Red Wedding

"Game of Thrones" fans, can you imagine a wedding "bigger" than the Red Wedding? Well that's exactly what author George R.R. Martin is calling the "Purple Wedding" in season 4 of "Game of Thrones," and recent leaked photos of the scene reveals some spoilers for the upcoming season.

Spoiler alert! Filming on what is sure to be one of the biggest events in "Game of Thrones" season 4 is underway, Zap2it reports. Called "the Purple Wedding" by readers of "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels, the wedding brings together the major characters of "Game of Thrones."
Author George R. R. Martin dished to E! about the anticipated event, saying, "Well, we have another wedding, a bigger wedding. 77 courses and all of the royal kingdom has assembled and it's supposed to be pretty amazing," Wetpaint reports.
"We just finished filming it in Croatia," Martin continued. "I unfortunately couldn't attend myself because they have me chained at my desk writing the next book, but from all the reports it was spectacular."
And it does indeed look spectacular, according to leaked photos from the scene reportedly taken by an extra and posted to Reddit, Zap2it reports.
Spoiler alert! The "Purple Wedding" is Joffrey Baratheon's wedding, as you can tell from all the the imagery of lions and stags in the photos.
But almost all "Game of Thrones" fans were traumatized by the "Red Wedding" at the end of season 4... Will this wedding end in a similar fashion?
We'll just has to tune into "Game of Thrones" season 4 on HBO in spring 2014.
