Free Games For Xbox Live Gold Members: ‘Clash of Heroes’ Available On October 1; ‘Xbox Fitness’ Free Starting Holiday Season Until Dec 2014

One of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for the month of October has been revealed. Also, another exciting software for the fitness-conscious will be available for Xbox Live Gold members until December 2014.

Starting October 1, ardent gamers will be able to enjoy one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members next month, the "Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes." This puzzle and adventure RPG was developed by Capybara Games. Originally worth $15, Clash of Heroes will be the free game for Xbox Live Gold Members until October 15, and will be replaced by another title in the second half of the month.

This game offering is part of the Games with Gold promotion by Microsoft, which offers two free titles to Xbox Live Gold members each month.

Rainbow Six Vegas is currently the free game offered by Games With Gold but as soon as October 1 arrives, it will immediately be replaced by Clash of Heroes. Meanwhile, Microsoft has not announced yet the other title for its October offering of free games for Xbox Live Gold members.

In other news, another free game for Xbox Live Gold members will become available soon. As reported by MCV UK, Microsoft revealed that an Xbox One title, 'Xbox Fitness' will be free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. This title "builds upon the many fitness games released for Kinect over the last few years."

Xbox Fitness, through the use of Kinect 2.0, will be able to read player's heart rate, without any other equipment necessary, as well as monitor movements and offer a personalized and customized exercise program. Workouts available are ranging from 10 minutes to an hour. Aside from workout and exercise program, Xbox Kinect will also have social features, allowing the gamers to compete and compare their score with friends.

Even more interesting, Xbox Fitness, as revealed, will be a free game for Xbox Live Gold members starting this holiday season until December of next year.
