Stars' relationships are being revealed through posts on social networking sites. Even celebrities that have quietly been dating could be exposed by one post or photo as "seeing each other." Some may even over-exaggerate that certain celebrities are dating because of words on a SNS.

That's not all. Some people will even secretly take photos of a private date and upload them onto social networking sites, which then spread like wildfire.

On September 26, f(x) Sulli and Dynamic Duo's Choiza had their outing captured in a photo and uploaded onto various SNS. To this both of their agencies denied the dating rumors and stated, "They have a close sister/brother type of relationship, but they are not dating." However, their "date" photos are still spreading on various websites and online community forums.

Actor Kim Woo Bin and model Yoo Ji Ahn officially announced their relationship the day before, and SNS played a part in that, too.

Netizens first started to suspect the two were in a relationship when one of Kim Woo Bin's fans witnessed Yoo Ji Ahn wearing the exact same t-shirt she had gifted to the actor. Yoo Ji Ahn wore the same shirt in a photo she posted on Instagram, and fans started to ask, "How did she get this design, since it's not even available in Korea?"

To this Kim Woo Bin explained, "After I received the shirt as a gift from a fan, I bought the same design and gave it as a gift to Yoo Ji Ahn."

Unintentional Posts on SNS Could Be Used as Conclusive Evidence

There have been cases in which celebrities have come to admit their relationships because of a post or photo uploaded onto social networking sites.

Se7en and Park Han Byul's relationship was officially confirmed when a private picture they uploaded onto a mini homepage site was revealed publicly. They admitted, "We are still dating." The photo revealed a Polaroid picture with the caption "6 years of dating" and confirmed that the rumors of the two dating have been true all along.

Actor Kim Moo Yeol and Yoon Seung Ah came to reveal their relationship in a similar way. Kim Moo Yeol wrote a message to Yoon Seung Ah via Twitter that read, "I think thinking about you, I keep wanting to hear your voice, I want to see your face, and I want to call you but I can't because I'm afraid you'll be sleeping. I'll leave this message to express how I feel." They were recognized as an official couple after this SNS confession.

Badminton national athlete Lee Yong Dae and rookie actress Byun Su Mi revealed their relationship through an SNS photo. Byun Su Mi uploaded a photo of their swimming pool date onto her Facebook, and the online community picked it up and spread it onto different SNS. The couple then openly admitted their relationship. Byun Su Mi even went to cheer for her boyfriend at one of the venues.

SNS Also Builds Useless Misunderstandings

Posts on social networking sites can also create useless misunderstanding. Dating rumors are born through photos that are uploaded casually without giving a second thought.

Recently Miss A's Jia and EXO's Tao suffered rumors because of their respective photos posted onto Weibo. Tao changed his Weibo profile photo to that of a cat, and the fans amazingly pointed out, "That's Jia's cat."

To this either agency stated, "Tao's profile picture is indeed that of Jia's cat, but the two are just really close friends," and dismissed the relationship rumors.

Preceding this incident, f(x) Victoria uploaded a photo that had Changmin's reflection in the spoon, which sparked relationship rumors of the two. Victoria uploaded a photo onto Weibo of food that she had personally prepared. In the setting, Changmin was captured in the reflection of a spoon. Their agency SM Entertainment had to clear things up, saying, "The person reflected in the spoon is in fact Changmin, but it wasn't just Changmin that was present at the scene."
