After calling New Jersey Governor Chris Christie "retarded," "Jersey Shore" star Jwoww later retracted the statement via Twitter.




She regretted her choice of words when describing how she felt about the politician while expressing her frustration with his views on gay marriage.




"So I apologize for my choice of words but I do not apologize for how I feel towards him," Jwoww tweeted about Christie. "I do find him disgusting and judgmental. I'm for gay equality."




Before the apology, Jwoww lashed out at Christie on Monday night when a TMZ cameraman approached her and Snooki while they were leaving dinner.




"He's retarded," said Jwoww. "He's a disgrace to New Jersey, just like we were."




In the past, Christie made it known that he was far from a fan of Snooki and Jwoww.




Now that their series is over, they are all grown up. Snooki is a mother and bother are planning to get married. Still, their resentment for Christie appears to be the same. This is despite the fact that the two ladies met with with governor back in May to squash the beef.
