Legend Of Korra Season 2 Moving To Fridays At 8:30 EST, Nick Toons Move From Nickelodeon Unconfirmed For Now, Watch A Clip From Book 2 Episode 'Peacekeepers' Now!

"The Legend of Korra" season 2 has been going through some turbulent changes, with early rumors suggesting a move to Nick Toons, but not it seems Nickelodeon is simply changing it airing time on Fridays.

According to several TV listings earlier, it seemed like "The Legend of Korra" season 2 would be moving not only from Nickelodeon to Nick Toons starting October 9, but also will air Saturdays instead.

However, it seems that is simply a scheduling error, as Nickelodeon has confirmed "The Legend of Korra" season 2 will remain on Fridays, but will air at 8:30 pm EST instead of 7:00 pm EST.

Move fans are theorizing that the reason for this scheduling change is to combat the somewhat low ratings for "The Legend of Korra" season 2 compared to season 1. A later start time could help with viewership, especially on such a competitive day of the week.

Oddly enough, the announcement does not confirm when this scheduling change will take effect, but fans are assuming it will take place immediately, starting with this week's episode "Peacekeepers."

"When the president of the United Republic refuses to help Korra, she decides to take matters into her own hands," says the official "Legend of Korra" season 2 episode 5 description.

This will also be the first time we meet President Raiko.

He is the first President of the United Republic after the United Republic Council was disbanded due to its failure to represent the interests of the majority. The Equalists attacks on Republic City also played a role in Raiko being elected.
