A Pink and NU'EST to Headline Singapore's Premiere Korean Culture Festival 'Vizit Korea'

Singapore also has its own event fully focused on Korean culture.  Vizit Korea, a 3-day event is taking place at the Singapore Expo on October 25th through the 27th. Serving as ambassadors of K-pop and Korean culture, the adorable ladies of A Pink and the funky electro boy band Nu'Est will grace the performance stages at this all-in-one happening not to be missed.

Korean movies will also be highlighted, and a meet-and-greet with actress Lee Chae Young is also scheduled.  She recently starred as 'Ran' in the flower-boy movie "Secretly, Greatly" opposite main leads Park Ki Woong, Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Seung Woo.

The K-pop performances will be October 25th (Friday) with A Pink and October 26th (Saturday) with Nu'Est respectively.  Both groups will be participating in the opening ceremonies on October 25th.  Lee Chae Young's meet and greet is scheduled for the final day on October 27th.

Other Highlights:

World famous Todai Restaurant will also be selling their specialty dishes at the Vizit Korea Food Street, so come on by to get a taste of Korea. In addition, Todai will be flying in some of their up and coming chefs direct from Korea to demonstrate some of the finer techniques in perfecting the beloved and much adored kimchi.

Hyun Taekwondo will be performing their nationally acclaimed taekwondo performance. Be sure not to miss this from the very first taekwondo school in Singapore with an internationally certified Korean principal!

The Little Angels, the internationally renowned Korean Folk Arts Performance Troupe has spread the Korean culture across the globe and have gained much recognition in the process. For the first time ever, they will feature 36 performers in Singapore on stage to impress!

See an amazing juxtaposed sculpture by Mr Osang Gwon, one of South Korea's top contemporary sculptors whose work are inspired by the alluring nature, animals and unique artefacts, aesthetically contoured through his own interpretation by assimilating classic sculptural forms into his personalized contemporary accent, which at times deliver phantasmagorical effects of sanity.

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), co-organizer of Korea Festival 2013 - Vizit Korea, will be featuring Winter Ski Holidays in Gangwon-Do amongst other exciting destinations. Visitors will be able to find out more information on ski resorts and activities in Gangwon-Do and even book a tour to these famous destinations from participating travel agencies specializing in trips to Korea.

Vizit Korea is host to the Korean Film Festival, featuring free movie screenings of some of Korea's best film offerings, including The Grand Heist and more!
