The SNSD van arrives. And as always, Sooyoung and Seohyun are the first to get off and greet the fans.

But why?

Believe it or not, there is a reason behind this.

For SNSD, Sooyoung and Seohyun are the 'center' during arrival and departure at the airport. Always impeccably dressed, the two girls keep the reporters' attention away from other members. Maybe they are the early birds that always manage to get a head start on creating the perfect 'airport look'.

On the contrary, Tiffany and Taeyeon usually appear last, wearing almost no make-up.

Some idols don't take attention well in the airports. In that case, they hide behind their managers, which is usually the case for Kim Jaejoong of JYJ.

Masks and sunglasses are often used to hide away dark-circles and hoodies are employed to cover up messy airplane hair. Sometimes, celebrities are seen holding little snacks, examples being Huh gayoon of 4Minute, Han Sunhwa and Jun Hyosung of Secret, as the three have been caught sipping on iced Americanos.

Cell phones also come in handy during awkward situations. SNSD's Jessica frequently uses her phone to cover the right side of her face whereas other celebrities pretend to be talking on the phone to avoid greeting a reporter.
