Nexus 10 2 Release Date Rumors: Launching Of Next-Gen Google Tablet Set For October 14 At 2013 Big Bang Event Alongside Nexus 5

Nexus 10 2 release date may happen just a few days from now.

According to rumors emerging online about possible Nexus 10 2 release date, tech fans might be able to see the new Google 10-inch tablet on mid-October. Recent speculations about Nexus 10 2 release date claim that the device may arrive on October 14.

As reported by Christian Today, Google is slated to hold an event on October 14, the Big Bang 2013, in which the internet titan will be introducing new products such as Nexus 10 2 and a new smartphone, the Nexus  5. Moreover, the upcoming mobile operating system from Google, the Android 4.4 KitKat will also be featured on the event.

If the Nexus 10 2 release date will pan out on the 14th of October, then, it will be one day ahead of the alleged arrival of its direct competitor from Apple, the iPad 5, rumored to launch on the 15th, alongside another iOS tablet, the iPad Mini 2.

As for the Nexus 10 2 specs, it is expected that the device will come out of the box preloaded with the Android 4.4 KitKat. Moreover, it may have higher internal storage capacity, according to Associated News. Asus, rumored to be the manufacturer of the Nexus 10 2 may also equip the 10-inch device with an expandable storage via a microSD slot. Also, it expected that Nexus 10 2 will offer LTE support, one that is not available on the original Nexus 10.

When it comes to pricing, Nexus 10 2 with 16 GB internal storage capacity may be priced around $560, which is more than a hundred dollars more expensive than the Samsung-built Nexus 10 currently worth $399.

Google is not yet making any official announcement regarding Nexus 10 2 release date, as well as its launch plans for other forthcoming products. However, expect more rumors about Nexus 10 2 release date in the coming days, as October 14 approaches.
