"The Americans" season 2 is about ready to go into filming, and the cast and creator of the FX series took the time to provide some vague spoilers during a recent PaleyFest panel.
During the panel, "The Americans" panel revealed that season 2 will address Paige (Holly Taylor) being close to discovering her parents' secret identities.

"I think we can say as much as, last season was the exploration of a marriage [and the news season] would draw a big concentric circle" to include Paige and Henry.
"That moment with Paige is a hint to some of the direction we will go."
In addition, "The Americans" season 2 should continue to shoot in Brooklyn, as confirmed by Keri Russell.
"I love shooting here, I live here [in New York]. ... They're shooting so much more here in the last 10 years."
"We start shooting again in October, and I don't know what's gonna happen, but I'm excited," says Russell to Hit Fix.
Meanwhile, perhaps "The Americans" will do a future episode entirely in Russian, according to spoilers provided by the panel.
"At first it was, 'Keep 'em short,' but by the end of the season were saying, 'We should make those scenes longer,'" says "The Americans" creator Joe Wesberg.
"Hey, maybe next season we should do a whole episode in Russian."
And regarding FBI agent Stan, actor Noah Emmerich says that keeping him in the dark will be a fine line on "The Americans" season 2.
"If Stan knows too much, the show ends; if he knows too little, he's stupid. Hopefully you don't know with any certainty what Stan knows and doesn't know."
