This Week's K-Pop Comebacks In Preparation For 'Infinite Challenge'

This weekend is sure to be an exciting one for many K-Pop fans as nine different acts will kick off their comeback promotions.

The various weekend music programs will be filled with performances from IU, SHINee, Kahi, AOA, Nine Muses, MYNAME, T-Ara, Boys Republic, and Jung Joon Young as they triumphantly return with fresh new songs and routines to excite their fans in the audience.

However, their glory may be short lived.

Next week, on October 17 the cast of "Infinite Challenge" will digitally release their collaboration project songs.

The seven stars of the extremely popular variety show will unveil the songs they have been working on with some of the music industry's biggest names such as G-Dragon, BoA, You Hee Yeol, and Primary.

This will be the fourth time since 2007 they have done such an event and always the new songs sweep the music charts, dominating over professional musicians.

The release of the "Infinite Challenge" songs is highly anticipated by fans across Korea because of their ability to bring creative tracks and fresh perspective to the thriving K-Pop industry.

Critics complain that the TV personalities are merely exploiting their fame to turn the music charts upside down for several weeks, but on the whole, most welcome the insertion of something new with open arms.

So while the nine artists making comebacks this week will have a hard time battling with each other for the time being, as of next week the competition with get significantly stiffer. A hard time for the idols, but fans can surely expect them to bring their A-game in preparation for the Infinite Challenge songs on October 17.
