Pokemon X and Y is just around the corner, and four more Mega Evolution Pokemon have been confirmed with photos and new abilities!
Meet Mega Heracross, who remains a Bug/Fighting dual-type according to Pokejungle. This Mega Evolution has the Skill Link ability, which causes multi-strike moves (like Bone Rush) to always hit their maximum number of times.

Mega Pinser is one of the few Mega Evolutions of X and Y to get a type change. As a newly anointed Bug/Flying type, he has the Aerilate ability, which turns Normal-type moves into Flying-type moves.
Sadly, Mega Pinsir is exclusive to Pokemon X while Mega Heracross is a Y exclusive!
In addition, meet Mega Banette, who has the Prankster ability, which increases the priority of status moves by 1. This means that Mega Banette will always strike first should it want to inflict a status move on the opposing Pokemon. And it bypasses Quick Guard too!
And finally, meet Mega Medicham, the Fighting/Psychic Mega Evolution in X and Y with the ability Pure Power. This ability doubles Mega Medicham's Attack stat. Yikes!
As Pokemon X and Y fans will undoubtedly take on the Mega Evolution challenge to find all the Mega Stones once the games come out, it appears Professor Sycamore will make the mission a little bit easier.
Reportedly, at some point in the game Sycamore will upgrade the Mega Ring so that it can detect hidden Mega Stones, but it is only usable between 8pm and 9pm.
While this will certainly be a challenge, no doubt all the locations will eventually be found and posted online at some point.
