Pokemon X and Y have been released, and more Mega Evolution entries have been confirmed!

Fans are going gaga over Mega Alakazam, which seems to be an early possible encounter (perhaps you obtain the Mega Stone early) given that the image is of a lvl. 16 Mega Evolution.

"Wow, another cool Mega. The ones revealed the past two days have been better on average than the other designs. There is more thought put into them rather than weird spikes and tassels. This Mega Evolution is visually stunning and innovative!" writes Fen on Pokejungle.

Another Mega Evolution to join the X and Y roster is Mega Scizor, which retains its Bug/Steel dual-type.

Based on an image posted online, Mega Scizor has high Attack, Defense, and relatively high Sp. Defense. Definitely looks to be a fan favorite!

And a Mega Evolution entry that some fans are surprised to see is Mega Manectric.

"I love Manectric but...I'm sorry I don't like this," admits regidudeam.

Mega Manectric has the Intimidate ability, and Electrike and Manectric are exclusive to Y, Manectite (its Mega Stone) is exclusive to X.

On the inverse of that, meet Mega Houndoom. According to Serebii, Houndoom is exclusive to X, but Houndoominite is exclusive to Y.

One thing fans have been noticing is Game Freak's desire for fans to connect more between X and Y, as well as other players in order to obtain all the items and evolutions.

"I think they really want to promote connectivity more. The only thing is, if we only get one per game, as it kind of seems like, then that almost requires you to get both games, which is kind of lame, because whose going to trade away their ONLY Megastone of that Pokemon if they have no way of getting it back, unless they really don't want it," says Sable.

So far, there is no confirmation on whether more than one specific kind of Mega Stone can be obtained through a game of X and Y.
