WARNING: Pokemon X And Y Glitch In Lumiose City Freezes Game [VIDEO], Digital And Physical Copies Affected, Is Worldwide Release To Blame?

Pokemon X and Y have been released, but a major glitch in Lumiose City is seriously damaging players' games.

"Everyone!! In Lumiose City there's a glitch when you save there and it freezes your entire game!" says Jordin on Pokejungle.

"The only way to fix this is to reset the entire game!!! Please spread the word as this could mean someone could lose their entire save file!"

Upon further examination, other players are also experiencing the same glitch who are posting about this on Gamefaqs and Marriland forums.

"I saved near a cab in Lumiose City and now whenever I try to restart my game it immediately freezes. It loads my trainer and all of my clothes as well as the buildings and their lighting effects, but none of the objects in the streets or the textures on the buildings show up," writes starwingcorona.

"Pokémon-Amie is also frozen on my bottom screen without loading anything and the game won't return to the Home menu when I push my button. I can hard-shutoff, but the 3DS internal software is completely frozen."

While earlier people believed that only digital copies of Pokemon X and Y are affected, but now it seems both physical and digital copies of X and Y can be afflicted if you save outdoors in Lumiose City.

"If there is a game-breaking glitch, we may all come to regret the worldwide release," says Duthos.

Hopefully, a patch will be released very soon to alleviate those who have been forced to restart their Pokemon X or Y file.

For now, please save indoors in Lumiose City or avoid saving inside the city altogether!
