NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and "SNL Korea" will be collaborating together for a special episode.

U.S. SNL reached out to "SNL Korea" and requested that they collaborate to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The two shows are currently working on how they will make this special episode work due to the language barriers. They are also currently debating on who the host will be for this episode as well.

Both teams have a lot of time to discuss as the 40th anniversary is not scheduled to air until September 2014.

SNL was a late night tv show that started in the U.S. in 1975. Korea decided to make their version of SNL and premiered in 2011.
