Adele passed her driver’s test and even though she’s only been a licensed driver for a couple of days, she will appear on the British car show “Top Gear.“ Adele took to Twitter to say she passed the test.

Adele passed her driver’s test on her first try. She called her driving instructor, “Dumbledore of roads. Could not have done it without him and his jokes changed my life.”

Adele’s driving driving instructor Noel Gaughan said Adele told him she wanted to appear on “Top Gear” as one of the show’s “stars in a reasonably priced car.” Adele would join other celebrity drivers like Ewan McGregor James McAvoy who have also put in their miles on “Top Gear.”

Noel Gaughan told the British newspaper The Sun, “Adele is a gifted driver and what she really wants is to be on Top Gear, with my encouragement. We discussed it and it's a dream. She was ecstatic when she passed. I nearly cried when I saw how much it meant to her.”

Noel says when he started teaching Adele, he didn’t know who she was. Even after she sang while driving. Even after she sang all her hits at 45 miles per hour. She would have shown him her driver’s license, but she didn’t have it yet. Noel also didn’t recognize Niall Horan from One Direction when he tutored the boy band singer.

Noel said, “I was teaching Niall and I just thought he was an ordinary lad. But wherever we pulled over there were girls taking pictures and surrounding the car. That made it difficult.” And added “A couple more of the other One Direction boys are looking to pass their tests still, so they have given me a call.'

Noel had also never heard Mumford And Sons before he tutored their double bassist Edward Dwain or seen the movie “Notting Hill” before he handed actor Rhys Ifans the keys. James McAvoy had to show him his X-Men costume.” Noel said “James McAvoy was a really sweet guy and it was great seeing him on Top Gear. Rhys Ifans is the funniest pupil I've had. When we got to the test center he walked up to the examiner and said `Shall I drop my pants now?.’”
