Casey Kasem: Dead or alive his children from his first marriage is suing his second wife, Jean. The children are suing Jean based on the grounds that she was purposefully isolating the popular radio host from them.

The children Kerri, Julie, and Mike are asking for a conservatorship. They are all adults.

A judge has ruled in favor of Jean and denied their request for an emergency conservatorship. A review of Kasem's medical condition however has also been ordered.

In early October Kasem's children held a public protest outside the radio celebrity's home to get support for their cause. Colleagues of their dad joined them and held signs that displayed the words "Why?" and also "Let Casey See His Kids".

His 41 year-old daughter Kerri said, "My dad is very sick, and we have been completely shut off from him for the last three months. There is no money issue here, we just want to see our dad. We love him, and everyone knows his kids and grandkids are a source of joy for him."

Kasem is battling Parkinson's disease as well as early dementia in his brain, according to his second wife Jean.

Hilda Loza, a former caregiver to Kasem and housekeeper, is filing a lawsuit against the star and his second wife. Loza claims she was mistreated while working for their household.

He is also a voice actor and was famous for hosting the radio show American Top 40. He is also famous for providing the voice for Shaggy in the cartoon Scooby-Doo.
