Five-member K-Pop girl group CHI CHI has been off the radar now for quite some time, leaving many fans to speculate that they have disbanded.

The members of the group have not updated their social media accounts (Twitter or me2day) in ten months or more.

Furthermore, CHI CHI's agency, Trophy Entertainment, deactivated their official website and their Twitter account has not been updated in several months.

What happened to CHI CHI and their company?

With no official word from Trophy or the group members, new information has come into light essentially confirming their disbandment.

Reflex, the group's choreographer, responded to a Twitter post saying they had, indeed, split up.

In a response to Twitter user @keraeyongpop, who asked, "@Reflexjun hey how is the members of chi chi doing? I heard they disbanded a while ago [sic]," saying, "im sry, they are disbanded.... [sic]."

CHI CHI made their debut in 2011 and underwent a series of member changes early on in their career, creating an atmosphere of instability in the group from the beginning.

However, they made a comeback last year with the track "Love is Energy" and all seemed well.

Now, their fans are left disappointed and wanting closure for the beloved group that all but dropped off the face of the Earth.
