Dwayne Johnson, or as he’s also known, The Rock, is ready to help people who need “A Wake Up Call.”

TNT networks announced that they have signed Dwayne Johnson for a new reality show called “A Wake Up Call.

TNT has already worked with “The Rock” on the reality show “The Hero.”

TNT will continue its ongoing relationship with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in an unscripted new reality show. TNT ordered The Rock’s new show “Wake Up Call” as a series.

The cable network’s new “Wake Up Call” will feature Dwayne Johnson as he offers to help everyday people who are up against enormous challenges. The new show will follow scenarios like dead-beat dads who don’t pay, sports teams that can’t get out of the dugout, or business owners who are encountering major troubles.

Dwayne Johnson will wake up these people at 4 a.m. with his own brand of motivation, whether he guides people into emotional reunions or setting professional or personal goals.

The new TNT show will debut next year. The cable network ordered eight hourlong episodes of “Wake Up Call.”

David Eilenberg, senior vice president, unscripted development for TNT and TBS, said “We had a wonderful time working with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on ‘The Hero,’ in which he challenged and mentored a group of everyday heroes. ‘Wake Up Call’ evolved from our experience on ‘The Hero’ and is its natural successor, bringing the human spirit of that show home to take on everyday challenges. In this new series, Dwayne will bring his mission of empowerment and change right to people’s front doors.”
