This Halloween, Miley Cyrus is paying homage to one of the most iconic looks of the VMAs: Lil' Kim's 1999 outfit. Miley Cyrus really got this Halloween costume right: she wore a similar outfit to the one Lil' Kim wore, including a sequined, lavender, skin-tight jump suit, with half of the top cut off to expose her left breast, which was covered up with just a purple pasty in the shape of a flower petal. Miley Cyrus even wore the straight, pastel purple wig, as well as the same makeup palette.

In the photos posted on her Twitter, Miley Cyrus also reveals her under boob tattoo that the public often doesn't get to see.

The tattoo under her left breast on her ribcage reads "Just Breathe'" in cursive. According to Contactmusic.com, Miley Cyrus got the tattoo when she was 17-years-old.

Contactmusic.com notes how fitting this Halloween costume is, as this year at the MTV VMAs Miley Cyrus created her own controversy with her gray teddy-bear leotard outfit, and then later her nude latex lingerie outfit that people couldn't stop talking about for months.

Miley Cyrus' assistant Cheyne Thomas actually wore this outfit for Halloween, according to a picture Miley posted on her Twitter of Cheyne wearing the grey leotard.

Miley shared pictures of her own daring outfit on Twitter, with one caption reading: ''Happy Halllllloweeeen (sic)''.

Another read: ''SHHHH*tzzzz A WIGGGG (sic)''.

A few days ago, Miley posted a few pictures on Twitter of her wearing this same purple wig. Now we know what it was for! And it looks like Miley really likes this one - she also posted pictures of her wearing it in a car, and wearing it while standing beside a horse - in this photo, she is wearing what may be the most clothing we've seen on Miley in a while; she's wearing black jeans and a black turtleneck.
