While it's unlikely that the exes are an item again, it's possible that the chances of them getting back together are still strong.

According to Us Weekly, Stewart was spotted pulling into Pattinson's gated community in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. After staying over for about three hours, Stewart left the property in her pickup truck and Pattinson followed behind her in his jeep, where photos were snapped of them driving on the same road.

According to the source, the former couple appeared to be heading in the direction of Stewart's home until the "Twilight" stars realized they had been spotted by the paparazzi. Once they realized they had been caught during their rendezvous, they split in different directions and Stewart drove home alone, Us Weekly reports.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson broke up in May, after struggling to overcome Kristen cheating on Robert with their 41-year-old director Rupert Sanders.

Since then, Stewart and Pattinson have been spotted meeting up over the summer. Rob moved his stuff out of Kristen's Los Feliz house just a couple of days after their split. Then, in August, he was caught visiting the house in August. He recently put the Los Feliz home that they once shared on the market for $6.7 million and moved into a rental in Beverly Hills, E! News reports.

Kristen has not been romantically linked with anyone since their break up, but Pattinson is rumored to be dating Dylan Penn, the 22-year old daughter of Sean Penn, The Hollywood Gossip reports. 

Meanwhile, Kristen spent time in Europe this summer, traveling and shooting the drama "Sils Maria" with Juliette Binoche and Chloë Grace Moretz, E! News reports, while Rob has been working in the US and Canada.
