Tim Tebow Rumors 2013: Half-Way Through Season No Team Expected To Sign NFL Free Agent, Opens PDQ Restaurant In Jacksonville To Create Jobs For Community

Tim Tebow still has no job prospects in the NFL to this day, despite the fact that the NFL season is half-way done. The Rams, Chicago Bears, Browns and Buccanners all of which needed a quarterback at some point all pass to sign Tim, but that didn’t stop from the famous former NFL star to keep himself busy.

Jacksonville Business Journal reports that Tim is preparing to open the first PDQ in the city tomorrow, November 3. The business is expected to create jobs in the community and serve as a solid investment for the local hero, whose very fans have picketed and flown signs on the air in to force the Jacksonville Jaguars to take him in.

According to the news, Tebow may or may not be present at the restaurant’s opening. His brother is also looking for another location in the area as well for a second PDQ. Sports World Report noted that the People Dedicated to Quality restaurant offers a wide range of options. They have chicken sandwiches, salads, tenders and milkshakes. The sports celebrity is expected to use his name and reach to help with the restaurant’s promotions.

Tim Tebow has very deep roots in the Jacksonville community. He won national championships at Florida and was a star in the city, playing for Nease High School where he led the team to a championship season. The former Heisman winner had a tough season last year with the Jets and though he initially went training with the Patriots but was let go prior to the beginning of the 2013 NFL season.

Despite the league having no availability of work for Tim, many have offered him work or expressed interest to work with the sports celebrity and role model. The U.S. Rugby team expressed interest to work with Tebow and a renowned Moscow-based football club reportedly offered him at least $1 million to sign on.

The star player though is still hoping to get back to the league as a quarterback. He played with the Denver Broncos and led the team to an incredible season up to the playoffs winning against the Steelers. When Peyton Manning was signed in 2012, he was traded to the Jets.
