Looks like Fifty Shades of Grey movie casting team will be having a Hollywood A-lister on its lineup, rumors are circulating that Katie Holmes is vying for the Elena "Mrs. Robinson" Lincoln role.

So far, the movie production has been delayed, Fifty Shades of Grey movie should have started filming last week, but the team moved it to December instead, "Wolverine" writer Mark Bomback was hired to do some polishing on the movie.

Casting wise, the two main characters on the movie adaption are Jamie Dornan(replacing Charlie Hunnam after the actor dropped out), who'll be playing the role of billionaire sadomasochist Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson, playing Anastasia Steele. Victor Rasuk, will portray the role of Jose,  Ana's trusted photographer friend who has fallen in love with her, Luke Grimes, to play Christian's brother Elliot.

Numerous publications have been producing articles about the alleged casting of Katie Holmes as Elena Lincoln, Christian Grey's ex-lover who introduced him to S&M lifestyle.

According to an article of National Enquirer, "KATIE HOLMES is sexing up her silver-screen image to put herself back on the movie map. And she's hoping to land a red-hot role in the film version of 50 Shades of Grey. Sources say that Katie, 34, plans on going platinum blonde for the role of Elena Lin­coln, kinky billionaire and main character Chris­tian Grey's longtime sex and business partner."

Latin Post is claiming that a "source" told them that Katie is desperate for the kinky role saying:

"She's looking at this as the role of a lifetime for her. It will shock a lot of people, but she thinks Hollywood will sit up and take notice...She knows she has to reinvent herself."

However, no confirmation nor rebuttal are being made by any of the parties involved in the project, which goes to show that there is a possibility of Katie Holmes being cast in the project. Other celebrity A-listers are being dragged on the role like, Kim Cattrall or Uma Thurman.
