Serena Williams Boyfriend 2013: Patrick Mouratoglou Forced To Take Sides? American Tennis Star To Take On

By Staff Writer | November 13, 2013 07:22 PM EST

Serena Williams and Andy Murray are reportedly going to face each other on a tennis showdown in Las Vegas in 2014, the International Business Times reports, leaving many fans wondering who, Patrick Mouratoglou, a notable fan of the male tennis star, will root for.

Patrick Mouratoglou, who coaches Serena Williams and is rumored to date her, has expressed his appreciation of Andy Murray's tennis career on his Twitter account in the past.

But now that his rumored girlfriend and one of his favorite players will face off against each other, he might be caught in the middle.

Serena Williams recently posted on Twitter that she gets "gitty every time" she runs into Dr. Dre, leaving many fans wondering if her coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou is jealous over the remark.

Last week, Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova mentioned that her and Serena Williams "left a lot of what happened in London behind them."

Earlier this year, Maria Sharapova took a stab at Serena Williams' rumored relationship after she perceived an insult from her regarding her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov.

"If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids," she said during an interview.

"She has so much in her life, many positives, and I think that's what it should be about."

But Serena Williams eventually apologized for her initial remark and the issue was largely forgotten about.
