Robert Pattinson And Dylan Penn To Go On A Romantic Hawaiian Getaway; Kristen Stewart Upset After Being Rejected?

Robert Pattinson and Dylan Penn are reportedly determined to keep their romance burning despite the British actor's recent meetings with his former girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. Latest reports account that Pattinson and Penn will go to Hawaii for a much-needed three-day vacation.

The young couple was first seen in Chateau Marmont last September 25. While a series of sightings have followed, the two didn't confirm their real status yet.  One insider confirms to US Weekly that something is really going on between the 'Twilight' actor and Sean Penn's daughter:  "He was affectionate with her and they seemed comfortable. Rob wants to treat her to a break away. They have been seeing each other casually for months."

The same source claims that the purpose for the Hawaiian trip is for Pattinson to further know the 22-year-old model: "He wants to jeep his options open, and he's looking forward to spending time with Dylan and getting to know her better in Hawaii."

However, Stewart is reportedly displeased for Pattinson's decision to be with Penn instead:"Kristen is really upset that Rob has planned a romantic break with another woman. Rob still loves Kristen but he doesn't think it can work between them, he believes they both need a fresh start."

Is Pattinson clearly over his former 'Twilight' co-star?

An insider tells Hollywood Life that Pattinson has strong feelings for Penn because of her traits. "One of the reasons Rob likes Dylan so much is because of her quirky sense of humor. It's funny because that's what Rob liked so much about Kristen - her sense of humor. Dylan is super sharp and is quick on her feet. She's very confident and comfortable in her own skin and this is definitely a turn-on for Rob. She's far from being meek and clingy," says the source.

Nonetheless, the 'Water for Elephants' actor is reportedly taking things very slowly and as much as possible, he wants his relationship with Penn to be protected from the glare of publicity.
