The latest buzz for the ‘Man of Steel 2’ aka Batman Vs Superman is that the female role that they were calling for has a frontrunner. That distinction belongs to Gal Gadot of the Fast and Furious franchise.

Gadot has had her share of fight scenes. She first appeared in Fast and Furious, the 4th installment of The Fast and Furious franchise that brought back Vin Diesel at the center of the movie. She was initially an agent of the drug lord they had to take down. She fell in love with Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and joined their gang instead.
Her image as a seductive but deadly vixen may give her an edge over Olga Kurylenko, but it depends on what role. This is what the speculation is about.
If the "slightly muscular" feature is for Wonder Woman, then Gadot may be out of the running. Also, if the plan was for Wonder Woman to have a solo feature, then Gadot would not be a premier name to bank a whole feature film on (word spreads around that there DC's priority is introducing the Justice League characters and not solo films).
If she's not Wonder Woman, then who will she be? There was a leak attributed (but not directly quoted) to Zach Snyder that he wants a love interest for Batman. Why let Superman get all the fun?
A smart, handsome billionaire will undoubtedly have his own gallery of love interests. Since Gadot is seductive, slender yet has physical fighting capabilities, many project her as a better Catwoman than Anne Hathaway. The only caveat to that concept is that Snyder wants to veer away from the Batman universe of Nolan.
There are other Batman love interests. Most notable are journalist Vicki Vale, socialite Julie Madison and Talia Al Ghoul. Just like Catwoman, they have a love-hate relationship with Batman. The Al Ghoul angle seems like a good fit, and they can develop that storyline to different levels.
We'll have to wait again. Not until July 2015 when the movie is shown, the bloggers will see to that.
