How Will Primary’s Plagiarism Situation Be Resolved?

Many are wondering how the accusations of plagiarism against Park Myung Soo and Primary's "I Got C" will ultimately be resolved.

Of course, it's really up in the air as to the definition of a clear-cut "resolution". People have suggested everything from conversations with Caro Emerald, whose song "Liquid Lunch" is similar to "I Got C", to giving the composing credit to Caro Emerald.

Whenever an artist is accused of plagiarism, the resolution is usually financial. Unfortunately, the proceeds from "I Got C" was given completely as a donation. Furthermore, the song is currently unavailable to purchase from any internet music vendors.

Primary's company have announced that they (Primary and Caro Emerald) are in continual conversation about the matter. Primary himself announced that the talks were on-going and that a resolution will be reached sooner than later. The reason for the conversations is not necessarily an acceptance of fault but rather a desire to reach a "resolution" that the fans are willing to accept.

The "resolution" that fans seek may not even be necessary between the two artists. Caro Emerald's producer, David Schreurs, tweeted that the conversations between the two were educational and beneficial to both parties involved. He added he respect's Primary and Amoeba Culture's stance and that "I Got C" should not have been banned. He mentioned that the song was unique to itself, and that he wants to work with Primary in the future because of his song writing prowess."

Caro Emerald even went on Youtube with the "Box Face Dancers" from the Infinite Challenge performance of "I Got C". Isn't that resolution enough?

Perhaps the accusations will stop if Primary does, in fact, work together with David Schreurs for a song. However, it also may be a little to early for that.

Schreurs will not sue, and Infinite Challenge, Park Myung Soo, and Primary have all offered their apologies to the fans and Caro Emerald.
