Mike Tyson Returns Holyfield’s Ear [VIDEO] In Footlocker ‘Week of Greatness’ Commercial; Also Features Dennis Rodman, Brett Favre

Kyrie Irving is one of the things that is right with this world. A lot of things are not. In the latest Footlocker commercial, some of those things are set right.

The commercial is about the “Week of Greatness” Theme. The first feature is a humble and distraught Mike Tyson appearing in Evander Holyfield’s doorstep. Tyson hands Holyfield a box. Evander gives a puzzled looked, and Iron Mike tells him that it’s his ear. In 1997, Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ear twice in their rematch. The heavyweights share a tight hug at the end of the commercial.

Another feature is Dennis Rodman being offered a round trip ticket to North Korea, which Rodman corrects to “one-way.” An ecstatic ticket teller screams the news to the rest of the passengers. One of them cheers: “He’s never coming back!” Dennis Rodman notoriously visited North Korea and declared that he was actually on an espionage mission. He was photographed beside North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Next feature has Brett Favre in a diner, finishing breakfast. A waitress approaches him and asks if he wants some more. Brett Favre has the philosophical response: “A man has to know when to walk away.” Brett Favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL legacy. However, he has ‘tarnished’ his legacy to some observers because he kept on making comebacks. His indecisiveness as well as the loss of his abilities have become irritating for NFL fans.

The next butt of jokes is Craig Sager. Sager is a sideline reporter for TNT and TBS and is known to NBA fans all over the world for his fashion preferences. Carig Seger wears outlandish suits and in some instances, the players themselves can’t keep a poker face when they talk to him. While he has become a butt of jokes, Sager has embraced this as a distinguishing factor for him. Now he’s in a commercial. How about that?
