JYP to Release 3 Groups Next Year… ‘The Next 2pm, the next miss A, 5Live’

JYP Entertainment remained relatively quiet during the year of SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment's domination, but they will be releasing three new groups next year to once again challenge SM and YG.

Group 5Live was unveiled as they were revealed to have participated on the OST for KBS's upcoming drama "Pretty Man". JYP has not released any official launching plans for any of the groups, so everything remains rather vague. However, it was made clear that there will be three groups released - the "next 2PM", the "next miss A", and 5Live.

It's not quite apparent whether the "next 2PM" and 5Live are one and the same. But the theory is that JYP will launch two boy groups that will be equally skilled and popular.

The two boy groups were revealed to be the group that Team A and Team B battled against on Mnet's "WIN". It's just a matter, then, of guessing which boys will be in which group. It's also unclear whether JJ Project will be included in the upcoming teams.

The girl group was scheduled to debut this winter but they were also back away for next year so that they can come better prepared for the new year. There is nothing concrete, but the fact that JYP is releasing a new girl group in the lines of Wonder Girls and miss A is already garnering much attention.

JYP remained relatively quiet after the launch of Miss A, JJ Project, Baek Ah Yeon, and Park Ji Min. How will they square up against SM's EXO and YG's WINNER?
