The powerhouse melodrama Secret ended last week, which led to the debut of Pretty Boy, starring Jang Geun Suk and IU. The drama made a solid debut with the first release of its original soundtrack featuring JYP Entertainment's newest male group, 5Live. 5Live who were featured on YG Entertainment's WIN, present the upbeat track Lovely Girl. 5Live is harmonious on this jazzy single which is consistently bright for drama, which is based on a cartoon.

Actor Choi Jin Hyuk provides the vocals for Don't Look Back, the love theme for his Heirs character Won and love interest Hyun Joo. Don't Look Back is an emotional rock song meant to illustrate the conflict between the chaebol and his love for the orphaned teacher. As the walls begin to close in for both Won and Kim Tan Don't Look Back will become an anthem which reflects the parallels between Kim Tan's hyung, Won and their unique choices for love interests.

2PM's Ok Taecyeon is the composer and central vocalist for Opening which is featured on the soundtrack for his film, Marriage Blue. Marriage Blue focuses on the issue of marriage and examines several couples a week before they are married. The track is upbeat, while conveying some of the anxiety that one faces prior to marriage. Marriage Blue premiered in Korea on November 21^st.

Wax provides the gorgeous vocals for Love Wind which is on the original soundtrack for the historical drama Empress Ki. The song is poignant with instrumentals that are perfectly consistent for the drama. Empress Ki has been well received and Wax has gained a lot of attention for Love Wind.

With Secret out of the way, Heirs climbed on the ratings chart. Heirs also saw the end of some of the slightly strange writing twists and delivered drama in in episodes 13 and 14. The debut of Jang Geun Suk and IU's was solid, with audiences warmly receiving the plot. As the dramas heat up, the original soundtracks just continue to get better.
