2NE1's "Missing You" has taken the music scene by storm. They have taken the top spot of the oneline music charts yet again.

Within 1 hour of the release of the single "Missing You", 2NE1's newst single rose to the top spot of the charts to not come down for the rest of the day.

"Missing You" has a completely different concept from their two hit songs "Falling in Love" and "Do You Love Me" which were released earlier this year with the same kind of fanfare. "Missing You" is sad; the other songs were happy. Still, 2NE1's brand of sad has proven to be as popular as their happy summer songs.

2NE1 was able to show of both sexiness and emotionalism with the song. CL had a nude scene in the music video that is a hot topic on its own. Fans and critics alike stated that the way CL expressed sadness through her body was more beautiful than simply titillating.

Bom, Dara, and Minzy also expressed the sadness of a woman in their expressions and clothes.

The secret to 2NE1's success may not be so easy to repeat, and it's because 2NE1's recipe for success is their own unique "2NE1" style. Their vocals were strong and unique, but each voice was filled with so much emotion that it brought tears to the listeners.

Daratweeted, "It's different when we have to be focused on the vocals so much. We're used to prancing around on the stage having fun. This will be a different kind of experience. But the fact that we can share our emotions through the song with our fans makes me very happy."

Their two summer hits, "Falling in Love" and "Do You Love Me", all took the top music chart spots as well as the top online chart spots.

The song will debut on stage at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong. 2NE1 will follow up the performance on MAMA by performing in Korea for about 3 months before preparing and leaving for their international concert circuit around China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan.
